Laurel Sillimanite Bricks with the characteristics of high cold crushing strength, high structural strength at high temperature, good thermal shock resistance, good wear resistance, and strong peeling resistance, Sillimanite Bricks also has excellent corrosion resistance because the brick continuously form a protective layer during use, which resists the penetration of harmful substances such as alkali and sulfur.

Product Details

Sillimanite Bricks are a kind of high-performance refractory material with the following characteristics:

1. High Refractoriness: The mullite phase and high silica content in silicon-mullite bricks endow them with high refractoriness. Generally, they can withstand high temperatures above 1600℃ and maintain good stability in high-temperature environments, being less likely to soften or deform.
2. Good Thermal Shock Resistance: These bricks have good thermal shock resistance and can withstand sudden temperature changes without cracking or spalling. This is because the thermal expansion coefficient of silicon-mullite bricks is relatively low, and their structure helps to buffer thermal stress.
3. High Abrasion Resistance: Silicon-mullite bricks have a dense structure and high hardness, giving them good abrasion resistance. They can resist the scouring and wear of materials at high temperatures, thus prolonging their service life.
4. Strong Erosion Resistance: They have good resistance to various erosive media such as multiple types of slags and molten metals. The components in silicon-mullite bricks can form a relatively stable protective film at high temperatures, preventing the penetration and erosion of the erosive media.
