Fused Zirconia Corundum Brick(AZS)

Laurel Fused Zirconia Corundum Bricks, also called AZS bricks, a high-performance refractory material, are made from alumina and zirconia via electro-fusion at high temperatures. With a unique microstructure, they feature high melting points, hardness, and excellent thermal shock and erosion resistance. Widely used in glass kilns, like pool walls and throats, they boost service life and production quality. Also applied in other demanding high-temp industries.

Fused zirconia corundum (AZS) bricks provide excellent corrosion resistance to molten glass and strong thermal stability. Best choice for glass melting furnaces.

Product Details

Fused zirconia corundum bricks have advantages in many aspects, mainly including the following points:

1. Excellent High-Temperature Resistance: Made by fusing aluminum oxide and zirconium oxide at high temperatures, they have a high melting point and can withstand the extreme temperatures in high-temperature industrial environments such as glass kilns and metallurgical industries. They are not easy to soften and deform during long-term use.

2. High Mechanical Strength: They are hard in texture and have high compressive strength and wear resistance. When subjected to the scouring and friction of materials, they can maintain good integrity and are not prone to problems such as cracking and spalling, which can extend their service life.

3. Strong Erosion Resistance: They have excellent resistance to erosive media such as molten glass and slag, can effectively resist chemical erosion, reduce material loss, maintain the normal operation of equipment, and improve production efficiency.

4. Good Thermal Shock Resistance: In the case of sudden changes in temperature, they can still maintain stable performance and are not prone to cracking or damage due to thermal stress, ensuring reliable operation during frequent heating and cooling processes.

5. Good Chemical Stability: They are not easy to react chemically with other substances in a high-temperature environment and can maintain the stability of their own chemical composition and properties, providing a reliable material guarantee for industrial production.
